Be honest, sometimes sending that email feels like more hassle than it's worth. Maybe you only had a "little" question, so you figure you wouldn't bug the other person or you wanted to wait till a "bigger" topic came up and you'd talk about everything all at once. 🙋🏻‍♀️

Either way, we're trying to tear down the barriers to communication and encourage you to contact your us or your compliance consultant as it comes to your mind while tooling around Complect. Now, instead of pulling up Outlook and writing an email (or failing to write that email), you can just chat with them! It's a familiar and easy to use interface for you to ping your specialist while you're actively working on compliance in our system with any question.

You'll always be able to tell if they're online too or have stepped away from the platform. If they're online and respond to you, then it operates like an instant messaging platform, but if they're away then they'll be notified of your message and will respond to your question at their convenience. You'll always have a full record of your ongoing dialogue conveniently in one place through that chat and can finally stop digging through emails on Outlook.

Whether you've signed up for Complect directly or through one of our great compliance consulting partners, you've been provided a compliance calendar with handy reminders. ⏰

These reminders are helpful for what we know will happen, however, there are also a few regulatory requirements that are "triggered" by events we don't know unless you tell us! So, this is a gentle reminder to maximize Complect and/or your consultant's efficacy by using our tool properly and adding all employees subject to your compliance program as a user.

When you do, we will now be able to automatically generate "trigger" reminders to collect their initial holdings report, amend (or create) U4, and/or submit their U5 filings based on their role at your firm and when they're fired or fired. As always, these automatically generated tasks are modifiable except due dates can only be moved up not later, given those are set by regulatory requirements.

We're constantly trying to improve and that includes visually as well. 

If you've logged in recently, you'll notice our new and improved left hand navigation bar with icon sets for every key link you'll need to save you the effort of clicking drop down menus. We have also made the left hand navigation bar expand without having the rest of the page responsive to that change. These are tiny tweaks, but we hope it improves your user experience and makes our site not only more intuitive, but more visually engaging to keep you coming back! 👀

Complect is changing everyday based on your feedback! We quickly realized these changes (while valuable) aren't being uniformly communicated to all our users. So, welcome to the tiny corner of the expanding Complect universe that helps you track all the iterative changes we make to our ecosystem to improve your user experience.

While you'll always have our growing tutorial guides from our Help Center to help you understand our functionalities, they are generally higher level and are infrequently updated. Moreover, some changes we make are "under the hood" so to speak and being able to still share those iterative changes with you helps you understand how much we do to maintain and improve Complect. So, don't be shy about that feedback!

We know the last thing you want is another unsolicited email clogging up your inbox, so we don't pester you! These changes are simply tracked and accessible to you at any time from your dashboard, but all based on your own curiosity and interest.
